Job Description
Creative Dynamic is a fast-growing production company based in Naperville, IL, known for creating and producing long-form content such as documentaries, doc-series, unscripted television formats and dynamic branded content. We’re looking for a highly organized, technically skilled, and creatively driven Assistant Editor to support our editorial and production teams across a variety of projects—from engaging social videos to full-scale productions.
Key Responsibilities:
Set up and manage Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve projects with efficient file structures and workflows
Ingest, sync, and organize media (footage, archival, audio, etc.) for editors
Manage all file exports including turnovers, screeners, and delivery outputs
Provide technical and basic troubleshooting support during post
Import, log and prep media for editors
Ingest assets from sound department, music department, etc., and keep them organized
Organize sound effects and music
Assist editors with Premiere builds in preparation for screenings and quality control of outputs
What We're Looking For:
2+ years of experience as an Assistant Editor or Lead AE
Strong proficiency in Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve
High attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills
Strong understanding of media ingest, grouping/syncing, and file delivery
Self-motivated, excellent communicator, and collaborative team player
Looking for both remote and on-site work in Naperville.
