Salary: $89,700 - 162,150 per year Requirements:
- We are looking for a motivated individual to join our team as a TS/SCI Automated Test Engineer. To be considered for this role, you should meet the following qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a related field, or possess equivalent experience with 8+ years in software development, release management, or operations management.
- An active TS/SCI security clearance with the capability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance.
- Proficiency in Selenium WebDriver.
- Familiarity with Git or similar software.
- A solid understanding of the software development lifecycle and Agile-Scrum methodologies.
- Experience with API and endpoint testing.
- Knowledge of Continuous Integration pipelines.
- Ability to draft test plans and test cases.
- Experience with test management tools.
- Demonstrated capability to engage in cross-functional planning, coordination, and execution of system integration activities.
- A collaborative spirit to work well with individuals from various disciplines and technical backgrounds, especially in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills to effectively convey complex technical concepts both verbally and in writing.
Responsibilities: - As a valued member of our team, your role will involve collaborating closely with fellow Test Engineers, User Services, Software Engineers, Systems Engineers, and Architects, with a focus on activities such as:
- Developing test strategies, plans, and cases based on requirements, design documents, and specifications, particularly for manual testing across various platforms.
- Automating test cases utilizing Selenium WebDriver.
- Estimating effort for writing and executing test cases while tracking your progress.
- Authoring test cases and conducting reviews with stakeholders.
- Executing test cases, including functional, smoke, regression, and integration tests.
- Reporting, tracking, validating, and resolving defects.
- Recording and reporting test results.
- Participating in daily scrum meetings.
- Contributing to system design sessions by providing input on new feature testability.
- Supporting processes by documenting and gathering metrics on testing activities.
- Engaging in all phases of risk management assessments and software/hardware development, with a focus on user requirements analysis, test design, and test tools selection.
- Using metrics for quantitative project management to identify improvement areas.
- Offering innovative solutions to enhance testing strategies.
