Strata Skin Sciences is looking for a someone to join our Field Service Team. The Field Service Engineer (FSE) will be home-based in Glen Glen Burnie, MD and south. FSE will cover a territory in MD, VA and PA. The FSE is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting Strata Products in medical offices, medical institutions and medical spas within a specific geographic area. Our primary focus is on Dermatology Application. Salary $75 to 90K. THIS IS NOT AN IT POSITION.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS INCLUDED BUT NOT LIMIT TO:

• Perform the assigned preventive maintenance for STRATA products.
• Perform the installation and removal of all STRATA products.
• Troubleshoot and correct problems with all STRATA products in the field.
• Create strong relationship with the users of the laser in the assigned accounts.
• Accurately complete relevant paperwork as deemed required in a timely manner.
• Adheres to the company Service Level Agreement.
• Travel and multi-tasking
• Provide Phone support

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of work experience in field service for Medical Devices or similar multi-disciplinary devices
• Experience managing a territory including time management, within a designated area.
• Demonstrate good time management and a passion for skills development to achieve goals
• Knowledgeable in Lasers and Multidisciplinary equipment
• Proficient in computer use and technology to enhance performance (i.e. Outlook, Excel, Word)
• Ability to successfully handle multiple priorities.
• Demonstrated ability to work in close collaboration with customers, sales and provide excellent customer service

EQUIPMENT USED:

• Computers, Cell phones, and field service equipment
• Must be able to use hand tools and meters as it relates to medical devices

ENVIRONMENT AND CONDITIONS:

• Must be able to lift 75 pounds
• Must be able to sit and stand for periods of time.
• Must be able to kneel, squat, sit on the floor for periods of time.
• Work independently in home office and customer offices
