???? Now Hiring: Full-Time Hospice Weekend RN (Friday–Sunday, 8 AM–8 PM)
Location: Serving patients in Hanover & Spring Grove and surrounding areas
Schedule: Friday, Saturday & Sunday | 36 hours/week
Join our compassionate and dedicated hospice team at the VNA of Hanover & Spring Grove , a CMS 5-Star Rated agency. We are seeking a Weekend Hospice RN to provide holistic end-of-life care that supports not only patients, but also families and caregivers during life’s most delicate moments.
What You’ll Do:
Deliver individualized hospice nursing care in accordance with Medicare guidelines and PA licensure laws
Conduct physical, emotional, and psychosocial assessments
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to develop and adjust care plans
Provide symptom management, therapeutic nursing interventions, and caregiver education
Document care thoroughly and accurately using electronic medical records
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and interdisciplinary team meetings
Support and mentor hospice aides and new clinicians
Qualifications:
RN licensed in Pennsylvania (BSN preferred)
1–3 years of hospice or relevant nursing experience preferred
CPR certification and valid driver’s license required
Passion for hospice care, with strong communication and critical thinking skills
