Location: Myrtle Beach, SC (Travel within 80-mile radius required)

Job Type: Contract

Pay Rate: $22 -$24/hr.

Duration: 3 months, with potential for extension based on performance and business needs.

Job Description

A leading technology-driven marketplace is seeking a Contract In-Person Sales Development Representative based in Myrtle Beach, SC. This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a direct impact on the success of local small and medium-sized businesses through face-to-face sales engagement.

Responsibilities

In-Person Visits (60%)

• Conduct in-field visits to local restaurants within an 80-mile radius.
• Build rapport with business owners and managers.
• Gather information on restaurant operations and current delivery platforms.
• Identify pain points and objections to partnering with third-party delivery services.

Meeting Setup (20%)

• Generate interest and schedule follow-up appointments with internal sales teams.
• Present the value proposition of partnership opportunities clearly and persuasively.

Information Gathering (10%)

• Document operational insights and partnership readiness in CRM systems.
• Provide timely updates to help shape sales strategies.

Administrative Follow-Up (10%)

• Confirm appointments and maintain regular communication with leads.
• Collaborate with internal teams for alignment and shared insights.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in field or outside sales, especially in restaurant, retail, or SMB sectors.
• Strong communication skills; able to confidently engage business owners.
• Proven self-starter capable of managing their own schedule.
• Proficiency with CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot preferred).
• Willingness and ability to travel up to 80 miles from base city (overnight travel may be required).
