Requirements The University Of Vermont Main Campus needs an Interventional Radiologist for coverage starting ASAP. Provider Scope of Practice: General IR day coverage, call coverage, and CTA/MRA vascular interpretation. Coverage Dates Needed: 8/1/2025Anticipated Procedures/Surgeries per Week: 25 per week.Description of Work Assignment: Daily IR coverage to include IP and OP procedures, and procedure addons.Location of Work Assignment: UVMMCBreakdown of Clinic Days/Sessions and/or OR Days: If covering Procedures ? OR M-F coverage. No callIf covering call M-TH ? call overnightFriday through Sunday ? 24/7 Schedule of Days/Times Needed to Work/ Shift Hours: M-F 8-5pm, Overnight Call M-F 5pm-8am/Saturday/Sunday Call 8am-8amOn call? Yes ? see above.Procedures Provider Will Be REQUIRED To Perform:Venous access, biopsies, drainages, organ access, embolization, thrombectomy/thrombolysis, hepato-bilary/portal intervention.Procedures Preferred: All of the above.Patient Load 5-7 procedures per day. No outpatient clinic or outpatient based procedures. Fellowship requirements or acceptable experience: IR residency/fellowship.Board Status Requirement (BC/BE): BCCertifications Required (i.e., BLS, ACLS, PALS)YesDefine Surgical Staff Structure: IR techs, RNs, APPs.Define Support Staff Structure: Manager, administrative support staff available. Will this provider practice independently? Yes.Are there APPs? If yes, will the locums provider be responsible for supervision?
