Client Overview: Our client is a well-known Utility company based in New York City. We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented
Mainframe Solutions Architect to join our client's team.
Salary/Hourly Rate: $80/hr - $100/hr
Position Overview: The Mainframe Solutions Architect will lead the design and optimization of enterprise systems supporting operational, financial, and productivity reporting. This role is critical in aligning technology solutions with business processes across material management, work management, and accounting functions.
Responsibilities for the Mainframe Solutions Architect: - Architect and implement systems for Material Requisitioning and Material Variance Reporting, ensuring accurate tracking and reconciliation of inventory usage.
- Design and support Productivity Reporting frameworks within Work Management Systems, enabling real-time performance insights.
- Develop and maintain Fiscal Calendar Management tools to support financial planning and reporting cycles.
- Lead initiatives for the Unit of Property Identification, ensuring compliance with asset tracking and capitalization standards.
Required Experience/Skills for the Mainframe Solutions Architect: - Advance knowledge in SQL and Stored Procedures.
- Proficient in Cobol/370, CICS TS, DB2 Ver 12.1.
- Proficient in data mapping and building functional workflow migration.
- Proficient in QMF reporting, SPUFI, File-Manager, and CA Intertest.
- Proficient in SAR View, VSAM, DFSORT, IDCAMS.
- The candidate must have experience in the SCANA application and developing integration modules for work management.
Preferred Experience/Skills for the Mainframe Solutions Architect: - Knowledge of CICS Web Interface, Web Services, and API Management is a plus
- Knowledge of MQ or similar message queuing technology is a plus
- Knowledge of PowerPoint and Visio is a plus.
