About the job Mold Maker


Key Responsibilities

• Build new molds from raw materials using CNC and manual machining equipment
• Repair and modify existing molds using using CNC and manual machining equipment
• Disassemble, clean, inspect, and reassemble molds for repair and evaluation
• Review and interpret drawings and models
• Operate lathes, milling machines, surface grinders, and other manual/CNC equipment
• Use precision measurement tools (micrometers, calipers, indicators, height gauges) to ensure tight tolerance machining and final fitting
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to troubleshoot tooling issues and recommend improvements
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area following company and industry safety standards
• Perform other Tool Room-related duties as assigned

• Previous experience in mold making, repair, or modification
• Proficient in both CNC and manual machining processes
• Ability to interpret complex blueprints and work with tight tolerances
