Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification and 1+ years Pharmacy Technician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A contract-to-hire opportunity is available for an experienced Pharmacy Technician to support a closed-door, long-term care (LTC) facility in Brockton, MA. This position requires working in a fast-paced environment managing a high-volume pharmacy with roughly 600 prescriptions daily. Ideal candidates are licensed, detail-oriented, and capable of maintaining accuracy under pressure.

Location: Brockton, Massachusetts
Facility Type: Closed door, Long-Term Care
Schedule:

• Monday to Friday: 2:00 PM 10:00 PM OR 4:00 PM 12:00 AM
• Weekend shifts: Saturday or Sunday, 9:00 AM 7:00 PM (one weekend per month)

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare medications in appropriate packaging such as blister packs and unit-dose systems for timely delivery to residents.
• Assist with ordering, receiving, and stocking medications while monitoring proper storage conditions and expiration dates.
• Maintain accurate patient and medication records using specialized software systems (Frameworks; training provided).
• Work efficiently in a high-volume environment, managing approximately 600 prescriptions daily.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active and clear Massachusetts Pharmacy Technician license required.
• Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) certification required.
• Previous pharmacy technician experience, preferably in a high-volume setting.
• Ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new software systems.
