Job Description

Summary:

The Senior Accountant is responsible for handling of advanced level accounting procedures including, but not limited to, e-filing reconciliations, credit card transactions, and credit card tracking. The Senior Accountant is also responsible for maintaining procedural documents and responding to audit requests for the Accounting Department.

Essential Functions and Duties:

  • E-fling reconciliations
  • Credit Card Transaction Handling
  • Credit Card Tracking
  • Identify areas of improvement throughout the accounting department and work with key partners to implement change
  • Document and create procedural documents
  • Respond to Audit requests and handle documentation collection
  • Provide backup for other roles

Required Education & Experience:

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • BA/BS in Accounting Preferred
  • Minimum 5 years accounting experience
  • Experience with process documentation

In addition to our regular background check and drug screen, this position also requires successful completion of a credit check.

Work Environment and Physical Demands:

This role operates in a professional office setting, routinely working with standard office equipment. Generally, due to the nature of this office position, the person in this role would be required to talk and hear, sit or stand for long period of time, and use their hands and fingers, to handle and feel. Occasionally required to walk, reach with arms and hand, climb or balance, and to stoop, kneel, or crouch. Regularly required to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Vision abilities required by the job include close vision.

Wage Disclaimer: The starting wage for this position is $60,000 to $65,000.
