JOB SUMMARY
As a Shipping and Receiving Clerk at ITG, you will play a crucial role in the efficient operation of our warehouse. You will be responsible for accurately and effectively managing inventory, processing orders, and maintaining a tidy and organized warehouse environment. The ideal candidate has a strong work ethic, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Receive, inspect, and record incoming shipments, verifying accuracy against purchase orders or invoices.
• Process and prepare orders for shipping, ensuring items are packed securely and labeled accurately.
• Organize and maintain inventory storage areas, ensuring items are properly stored, labeled, and easily accessible.
• Perform regular inventory counts to maintain accurate stock levels and reconcile discrepancies.
• Collaborate with other team members to coordinate and fulfill orders in a timely manner.
• Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and hazard-free, following safety protocols and guidelines.
• Assist in resolving any discrepancies or issues related to shipments, orders, or inventory.
• Utilize warehouse management systems and other relevant software for inventory tracking and order processing.
• Provide exceptional customer service to internal teams and external partners regarding inventory and order inquiries.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Required: Ability to communicate effectively, strong organizational and time management skills, Ability to lift and carry items (less than 50 lbs.) and stand for extended periods.
Preferred: Basic computer skills and proficiency in using warehouse management software or similar tools, Familiarity with warehouse processes, inventory control, and shipping/receiving procedures.

EDUCATION
Required: High School Diploma
Preferred: Associate's degree or equivalent experience; certification in warehouse management is a plus.

EXPERIENCE
Required: 1-2 years of previous warehouse experience
Preferred: 3+ years of experience working in a shipping or receiving role.
