Innova Solutions is partnering with a client that is actively seeking to hire an experienced Technical Documentation Specialist for an immediate opening.
Position Title: Technical Documentation Specialist
Location: Chandler, AZ or Charlotte, NC (3 days on-site and 2 days remote )
Duration :6+ Months
Employment Type -Fulltime contract
Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented
Technical Documentation Specialist to lead and support the development of high-quality documentation strategies, policies, and publishing standards. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure accuracy, consistency, and excellence in all technical publications.
Key Responsibilities: - Lead or contribute to the development of documentation and publishing strategies, policies, and guidelines.
- Establish and maintain publication standards; conduct procedure audits, certifications, and manage documentation timelines and pipelines.
- Review, edit, and refine content authored by others for clarity, accuracy, and compliance with documentation standards.
- Design and develop technical project artifacts, job aids, and training materials for Windows, macOS, and related products.
- Conduct quality control assessments of team deliverables to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Recommend and document business procedures and best practices, identifying process gaps and offering actionable improvements.
- Serve as team lead or escalation point, providing guidance and expertise to documentation teams.
- Partner with clients to assess audience needs and develop tailored documentation strategies that effectively communicate technical information.
Qualifications: - Proven experience in technical documentation, publishing, or related fields.
- Excellent editing and quality assurance skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and timelines effectively.
- Proficiency with documentation tools and platforms across Windows and macOS environments.

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:
Pay Range*: Between $30-35 per hour>
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
