Job Description
As a Mold Maker, you will study blueprints, sketches, models, work instructions, and specifications to produce fabricating tools, dies, injection molds, jigs, fixtures, and assemblies using a variety of machine operations within close tolerances. You will conduct test runs with completed tools, molds, or dies to ensure that parts meet specifications and verify dimensions, alignments, and clearances of finished parts using precise measuring instruments.
Responsibilities
Develop specifications from general descriptions and draw sketches of parts or products to be fabricated.
Adhere to 'made-to-print' work procedures to meet production schedules, adjusting schedules to meet expedited or increased production requirements.
Collaborate with Engineers, Production Personnel, Programmers, and others to resolve product and equipment issues.
Work alongside Engineering to develop new products, tools, and processes.
Perform necessary preventive maintenance activities to minimize downtime and extend the operating life of all tooling.
Essential Skills
Toolmaking experience with molds
3-5 years of experience in Tool Design and Mold Making
Proficiency in Wire EDM
CNC Machining experience

The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $80000.00/yr.
