Project Overview:

Our client, the world’s most popular mobile platform with approximately 3 billion monthly active devices worldwide, is seeking a Senior UX Designer to join their team for 9 months in Mountain View, CA.

Privacy and Security are core pillars for the client. They are of crucial importance to the platform and the apps that run on it. The team focuses on making its users confident, navigating the digital and AI world, knowing they’re protected and in control of their security and privacy.

Overall Responsibilities: 

As part of our team, you will:


    \t
  • Create a results-oriented vision at the project level in partnership with Project Management (PM) and engineering leads

  • \t
  • Align the UX and cross-functional team on a long-term project vision through workshops, sprints, customer meetings, etc.

  • Lead UX projects from initial concept through execution and launch 

  • \t
  • Collaborate with product, engineering, and research partners to explore and evaluate concepts, support implementation, and independently move projects forward

  • \t
  • Communicate progress and design rationale to align on design decisions with stakeholders

  • \t
  • Partner with research & PM to define goals and success metrics and frequently evaluate designs

Mandatory Skills/Qualifications:


    \t
  • Experience leading UX for complex user facing products at scale

  • \t
  • Exceptional storytelling skills that bring customer values to life and a passion for well designed presentations and share-outs

  • \t
  • Experience with conceptual work, early phases of the design process and workshop facilitation

  • \t
  • Map user journeys and possible product features and be able to segment those journeys into product launches that can balance customer and business needs.

  • \t
  • Great self-leadership, communication, and collaboration skills

  • \t
  • Experience leading projects with researchers to evaluate designs, and partnering with mobile engineers to implement high-quality designs 

  • \t
  • Experience collaborating with and aligning many cross-functional or cross-team stakeholders to scope work and define timelines

  • \t
  • A deep desire to apply design and technology toward expanding what’s possible, protect user privacy, and improving the world

  • Pay: $80-100 per hour DOE - W2 Only

Pay Range: $80 - $100

The specific compensation for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment. Our full-time consultants have access to benefits including medical, dental, vision and 401K contributions as well as any other PTO, sick leave, and other benefits mandated by appliable state or localities where you reside or work.
